2 large apples
1 medium orange
1/2 c. sugar
cool whip
11 oz. pkg. breadstick dough
1 pky. (.5 oz) butter buds
1 t. cinnamon
orange zest
Peel, core, and slice apples. Cut slices in half. Unroll dough. Separate into 8 breadsticks. Cut each breadstick in half crosswise, to make 16 strips. Place 3-4 apple slices at the end of each piece of dough. Roll up. Arrange in dish. Squeeze orange juice on top of bundles. Combine butter mix with hot water as directed on pkg. Pour over bundles. Mix orange zest, sugar, and cinnamon. Spoon over bundles. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with cool whip.
