8 c. sliced, pared, tart apples
1/4 t. ground nutneg
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 T. firm margarine
1 1/4 t. ground cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Bisquick, divided
2 T. margarine, softened
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Heat oven to 325. Grease a 10x1 1/2" pie plate. Mix apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Turn into plate. Beat sugar, milk, 1/2 c. Bisquick, eggs, and 2 T. softened margarine until smooth, about a minute with a mixer. Pour into plate. Mix together remaining Bisquick, nuts, brown sugar, and firm margarine. Sprinkle over mixture in plate. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 55-60 minutes.
