Faye's Indonesian Pork Chops

6 loin chops, salted and peppered

1 lb. can peach halves

3 T. vinegar

1 T. brown sugar

2 T. soy sauce

1/4 t. ginger

1/8 t. prepared mustard

1/8 t. garlic powder

1 large green pepper, cut into diamonds

1 large red pepper, cut into diamonds

1 T. instant minced onion

1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper

Brown chops. Drain. Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine syrup with remaining ingredients, expect peppers. Pour syrup over chops. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Place peppers and peaches over chops. Cover and simmer for additional 5 minutes.
