1/2 c. crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 t. lemon flavoring
Cream butter and crisco on high speed. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time, while mixer is operating. Slowly add remainder of ingredients. Place in sprayed in bundt or tube pan. Put in cold oven. Set oven to 350 degrees and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. No peeking! Makes a 5 lb. cake.
