Ham & Cheese Rolls

2 pkgs. brown and serve rolls in foil pan (may also use Hawaiian rolls if brown and serve not found)
1 T. poppy seeds
1 1/2 T. prepared mustard
1 1/2 lb. ham slices, cut in quarters
12 slices swiss cheese, cut in quarters
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. onion flakes, (I use freeze dried onion)
1 T. garlic powder (I use the minced garlic in a bottle)

Slice rolls in half, not separating rolls, and leaving bottom half in foil pan. If you use the Hawaiian rolls, slice them all the way apart and place in a sprayed 9x13 pan. On top of bottom layer, place 2 pieces of ham and 1 piece of cheese. Cover with top half of rolls. Combine all other ingredients. Spoon evenly over rolls in pan. Cover with aluminum foil.(sometimes I put these in the refrigerator overnight). Heat 20 minutes at 350 degrees, or until cheese is melted.

*I remember Mary Gill, my second mother, making rolls similar to these : ) I just recently heard these are also known as "Funeral Rolls" because they are often taken to funeral homes for the family.
