Crockpot Broccoli Cheddar Soup

1/4 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth
1 lb. frozen broccoli, chopped, thawed
4 c. shredded cheese
1-2 t. garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Heat broth. Whisk in flour. Pour in crockpot. Add broccoli. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Stir in cheese, 1 c. at a time, allowing it to melt completely before adding the next cup of cheese. Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.

*Placing the cheese in all at one time will cause it to clump together and not melt : (
