Creole Red Beans and Rice

 2 c. chopped onion

1 c. diced celery

16 oz. can kidney beans, drained

1 t. oregano

2 t. hot sauce

1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper

4 cloves garlic, minced

14 1/2 oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained

3 c. cooked rice

Brown onions, peppers, and celery. Steam 10 minutes or until done. Stir in all other ingredients, except rice. Simmer 15 minutes. Add rice and stir. Serve hot.
